Personal Training

Often, we sit for long periods (in the office, car or home), with detrimental outcomes to the body’s health and posture, many of which go unnoticed. Today’s modern world leaves many of us with little or no time to exercise and eat healthily. By working with a Personal Trainer you can have every confidence that your exercise time will be well spent and successful.

By employing me as your Personal Trainer you can take faith in a friendly, dedicated, dynamic, extremely motivated and highly rated health professional. I pride myself on standing up to my clients’ high standards set and proving time and time again by delivering results and marked improvements. I am a very open and honest person, open-minded and wise beyond my years, and take my own education through research and continued studies seriously.

I do hope to work with you in order to realise your health and wellbeing quest.

What to Expect

Initially, we will meet for a consultation to assess your current state of health and discuss your goals and objectives. You will undertake the following tests at this time – blood pressure, resting heart rate, height, weight, body fat percentage, body composition measurements, lung function tests, a VO2 max test (endurance test), flexibility and postural testing (if necessary). This will give you an agreed starting point as well as a benchmark against which we can measure your progress.

Training sessions are commonly an hour, although 30 or 45 minute sessions are available, or longer sessions if you require. Training will always be fun, challenging in parts, functional to your lifestyle and/or sport, offer variety, as well as being supported, motivated and stimulating 100% of the time. A strong emphasis will be placed on making training time fun, to ensure that you have the motivation to not only meet, but exceed your goals.

Expected of You – The Client

Making such a commitment to Personal Training, to help you succeed, you will be expected to complete any training sessions set between sessions. You may also be advised to alter your diet and lifestyle in part at your own discretion, to help obtain your training goals and objectives. You are urged to view other areas of my site, particularly my blog to help guide and set you on your way.
