I love the New Year, the new beginning feel, the chance to challenge myself, drive for something new or rekindle an old habit that’s perhaps slipped away, a clean slate to target and plot personal development, a refocus and a host of opportunities to grow individually.
I plan my resolutions for the longer term and focus on a bigger picture, finding this a great way to both commit, stay the course and succeed with each of them. I want to share with you my 2019 resolutions and some reasonings why. This blog platform can help me to reason further with myself and justify my choices, so thank you for entertaining me, and here goes nothing…
Soup season is upon us!
With Halloween fast approaching, this healthy pumpkin soup recipe is a must try.
Home made soup is so easy to make, requires little to no previous cooking skills, and can be knocked up in batches big enough to last a few days, serve a large party, or freeze in batches to serve your requirements.
Not much beats a homemade soup, and made from scratch, is a great way to impress friends and family, with flavour(s) and nutritional returns far outweighing a store bought carton or can, every time!
Post workout nutrition is always important, playing an integral role in recovery and training development. A quality post workout breakfast is also an ideal opportunity to set up your daily intake of quality calories. Start the day eating the wrong foods, and often I see the rest of the day spiral out of control. Start the day as you mean to go on should always be your goal. Continue reading
Healthy lunch and lunchbox ideas are sometimes hard to come by, and harder still is to come by simple, healthy and quick to prepare lunchbox recipes.

Ready from cupboard to baked in 30 minutes, these are my current number one treat.
Great to have on hand if you suffer from sweet cravings, are a great snack, pre or post workout (or during long endurance efforts), breakfast on-the-go even, for adults and children, whoever gets in there first! If you feel like one of these, you have my humble permission anytime you like. Enjoy! Continue reading

I am thrilled with the response and results, and plan to run more HIIT Bootcamp sessions in 2016. I am currently seeking opportunities and the possibility of another North Crawley Bootcamp session, as well as in other village locations, or even within business/corporate establishments. Do watch this space.
For today, how about the why’s and how’s of my HIIT Bootcamp Sessions. Continue reading

Ending 2015 on a family holiday in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, and I am loving the time for a ‘proper’ oats breakfast. I should not be working really, but with my trusty iPad, I could not keep from sharing this awesome morning oats recipe!

Get your juice on! The perfect juice recipe for hydrating, aiding digestion and boosting immunity over the festivities.

Juicing, partularly with green leafy vegetables, so far is the pinnacle of my own personal health quest. I have researched and researched the many health benefits and healing powers of juicing, and to me personally, green juice is as clean as it gets, packed with nutrients, vitamins and minerals, phytochemicals, and oh my god when you drink a homemade fresh juice you know it, flooding every cell of your body with the ultimate of goodness, and the alive feeling you get is just the best and truly most powerful. I hold juicing in the highest regards when it comes to feeding my body the very best, purest and cleanest nutrients.
On that personal statement, I want to share with you my green juice of the moment… Continue reading
